Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Lead to join our agile team. As a Senior Oracle Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing Oracle-based solutions to meet our business needs. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver high quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize Oracle database solutions, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, ETL processes, data migration scripts, and performance-tuned database objects.
- Develop and support Oracle database solutions, including packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, and sequences, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Create and maintain database migration scripts, schema updates, release deployment packages, and automated database deployment processes.
- Design, build, and support ETL workflows, data transformation processes, validation frameworks, and batch data processing solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, data quality concerns, application integration challenges, and performance bottlenecks across environments.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization using execution plans, indexing strategies, partitioning, optimizer statistics, and Oracle diagnostic and monitoring tools.
- Support CI/CD initiatives, implementing automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and compliance practices for database solutions.
- Develop and support database unit testing, regression testing, data validation testing, and automated test support for SQL, PL/SQL, ETL,



and data migration changes.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate SQL and PL/SQL development, code review, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Experience in designing tables, data analysis, wiring complex queries (SQL and PL/SQL), performing tuning and table partitions.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot or other Dev Assist tools and capabilities
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization to ensure code quality and efficiency.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience as an Oracle developer, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex database solutions
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to affectively collaborate with cross functional teams.
- Experience with Git and continuous integration / continuous deployment pipelines

Nice to have

- Oracle Certification
- Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., MongoDB, SQL Server)
- Experience of using Tableau with Oracle
- Starburst or other Data virtualization technology experience
- Python Development experience
