Job Opportunity for Oracle APEX Techno-Functional Consultant.

JD:

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle APEX Techno-Functional Consultant to architect, build, and maintain enterprise low-code applications. This role requires a hybrid profile capable of handling complex technical development alongside functional requirements gathering.

You will lead key initiatives to extend Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) functionality using Oracle

APEX, automate seamless data exchanges with Google Workspace REST APIs, and build interactive External Pages & Reporting modules for internal and third-party stakeholders.

Oracle EBS Integration & Extension

Design and deploy APEX extensions to bridge gaps in Oracle EBS (R12.1/R12.2) core modules (Financials, SCM, HRMS).

Build secure single sign-on (SSO) integrations between EBS and APEX using EBS FND authentication, Web ADI alternatives, or custom APEX plugins.

Ensure transaction integrity across Oracle EBS database schemes, custom schemas (XX custom schemas), and public APIs/interfaces.

Google Workspace API Integrations

Architect bidirectional RESTful API web service integrations using Oracle APEX APEX_WEB_SERVICE and PL/SQL libraries.

Automate workflows involving Google Drive (file generation and upload), Google Sheets (data synchronization), Google Calendar, and Gmail API.

Manage OAuth 2.0 authentication flows and token storage securely within Oracle APEX environments.

External Pages & Enterprise Reporting

Build responsive, public-facing,



or third-party accessible APEX pages with fine-grained role-based access control (RBAC).

Design reporting interfaces utilizing APEX Interactive Reports (IR), Interactive Grids (IG), and APEX Office Print (AOP) or JasperReports for pixel-perfect PDF/Excel output.

Embed modern UI/UX practices using Universal Theme, Custom CSS, JavaScript energetic actions, and AJAX processes for web pages.

Functional & Stakeholder Management

Gather end-user requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications(BRD/MD070), and lead functional discussions.

Map enterprise business processes within Oracle EBS to modern APEX user interfaces to streamline daily operational workflows.

Skills:

5+ years of hands-on experience building APEX applications (v20.x23.x+). Expertise in Dynamic Actions, APEX APIs, REST Data Sources, and Universal Theme modification.

In-depth understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, standard tables/views, open interfaces, concurrent managers, and custom schema extension (XX_ standards).

Advanced PL/SQL (Packages, Triggers, Views, Pipelines), SQL Performance Tuning, and ORDS (Oracle REST Data Services) configuration.

Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0, REST APIs (JSON/XML parsing via APEX_JSON), JavaScript (jQuery/vanilla), CSS3, and HTML5.

Proven experience connecting Oracle DB/APEX to Google Workspace RESTful services.

Prefered Skills

- Prior experience with APEX Office Print (AOP) for custom PDF report generation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools for APEX deployments (SQLcl, Git, Liquibase).
- Oracle APEX Cloud Developer Certified Professional or Oracle EBS certification.

Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
