Role Description This is a full-time, in office preferably Phaco Surgeon, Ophthalmologist role based at Jagmohan Lal Hospital in Shahjahanpur. The Ophthalmologist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, prescribe treatments, and provide follow-up care. Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing phaco, and participating in surgical care as appropriate.

The role involves working closely with optometrists, nursing staff,



and technicians to ensure accurate assessments and safe, effective treatments. The Ophthalmologist will also educate patients and families on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options, while contributing to clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- MBBS, MS, FELLOWSHIP in phaco
- Experience in 500 phaco surgery
- Proficiency or strong interest in Ophthalmic Surgery, including pre-operative assessment, surgical techniques, and post-operative care.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and postgraduate qualification in Ophthalmology; valid medical registration and eligibility to practice.
- Robust clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based care.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, maintain accurate medical records, and uphold ethical and patient-centered care standards.
