Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced OPF Developer with strong hands-on experience in FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) to design, develop, enhance, and support payment processing applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of payment processing, ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX messaging, microservices architecture, REST APIs, and SQL/Oracle databases . Experience working on enterprise payment systems and banking/financial applications will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain payment processing applications using FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) .
- Work on payment processing flows, configurations, integrations, and application enhancements.
- Develop and support payment solutions based on ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX messaging standards .
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices for payment processing applications.
- Work with SQL/Oracle databases for data analysis, queries, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot application and payment-processing issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technical teams to deliver payment solutions.
- Participate in application testing, production support, defect resolution, and release activities.




- Ensure payment applications meet required performance, reliability, security, and quality standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with FIS Open Payment Framework (OPF) .
- Strong understanding of payment processing applications .
- Experience with ISO 20022 messaging .
- Good knowledge of SWIFT MT/MX messaging .
- Experience with Microservices architecture .
- Strong experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Good knowledge of SQL / Oracle .
- Strong understanding of banking and payments domain .
- Experience in application development, troubleshooting, and production support.

Good to Have
- Experience with FedNow / RTP / FedWire / SWIFT payment systems.
- Knowledge of real-time payment processing .
- Experience with cloud-based payment applications.
- Exposure to Java / Spring Boot and related enterprise technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of payment lifecycle, clearing, settlement, and transaction processing.

Candidate Profile
- 7–13 years of overall IT experience with relevant experience in payment technology.
- Candidates with 7–9 years of experience will be considered at SA level .
- Candidates with 10–13 years of experience will be considered at M level .
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
