- Perform day-to-day operational activities on NMS platforms such as ManageEngine OpManager, SolarWinds, or similar monitoring tools.
- Configure and manage device discovery, monitoring templates, thresholds, and alerts.
- Add/remove devices, interfaces, servers, applications, and services for monitoring.
- Configure dashboards, widgets, and monitoring views based on operational requirements.
- Manage users, roles, and access within the monitoring platform.
• Perform NMS platform health checks and ensure monitoring availability.
Required Technical Skills •
Hands-on experience with any enterprise NMS solution:
o ManageEngine OpManager o SolarWinds o Nagios o Zabbix o PRTG o Similar monitoring platforms
- Valuable understanding of network and infrastructure monitoring concepts.
- Knowledge of:
o SNMP monitoring o Network protocols o Server monitoring o Performance monitoring o Alert management
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Windows/Linux systems.
- Understanding of ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
