About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, technically strong, and highly disciplined Field Operations Auditor / Operations Excellence Specialist to ensure the operational excellence of our deployed robotic fleet across India.

This is a field-intensive role where the selected candidate will travel extensively to audit robot health, evaluate field operations, assess manpower performance, interact with clients and mall authorities, and ensure every deployment location maintains the highest operational standards.

The person will act as the eyes and ears of the Operations Department, taking complete ownership of field operations and ensuring that robots, manpower, documentation, and customer experience consistently meet company expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct periodic audits of deployed robots across all assigned locations.
- Inspect overall robot health, including hardware, software, navigation, sensors, battery, charging systems, and accessories.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and ensure maintenance schedules are followed.
- Identify hardware and software issues, perform initial troubleshooting, and coordinate with technical teams for timely resolution.
- Verify robot functionality, navigation accuracy, customer interaction, and overall operational performance.
- Ensure all robots comply with company SOPs, operational standards, and safety guidelines.
- Verify robot cleanliness, branding, charging stations, and overall presentation at deployment sites.
- Monitor robot uptime and proactively identify potential failures before they impact operations.
- Evaluate the performance of field engineers and on-site manpower based on technical knowledge, troubleshooting ability, response time, documentation, professionalism, ownership, and SOP compliance.
- Conduct performance audits and provide structured feedback and improvement recommendations.
- Interact with mall management, facility teams, and client representatives to collect operational feedback and resolve concerns.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.




- Investigate robot breakdowns, operational incidents, and customer complaints, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Prepare detailed audit reports with observations, photographs, corrective actions, and recommendations.
- Verify inventory, spare parts availability, tools, batteries, chargers, and asset records at each deployment location.
- Ensure all deployment, maintenance, service, and audit documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Track open issues and ensure timely closure through effective coordination with Operations, Technical Support, Product, and Logistics teams.
- Identify recurring operational challenges and recommend improvements to deployment processes, maintenance practices, SOPs, and overall operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards during all field activities.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports, performance trackers, and operational dashboards.
- Travel extensively across India to conduct audits, inspections, preventive maintenance reviews, and operational assessments.
- Take complete ownership of assigned locations and ensure the highest standards of robot performance, field execution, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

Education

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (Mandatory)
- MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, or Project Management (Preferred)

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of robotics systems, electronics, mechanical assemblies, and automation equipment.
- Hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Basic understanding of Linux, networking, and software diagnostics.
- Knowledge of inventory management and asset tracking.
- Experience with operational documentation and reporting.




- Ability to perform technical inspections and identify root causes of failures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
