OpenStack Private Cloud Deployment & Migration Intern

Role Summary

Cloud4Green Technologies is seeking a motivated intern to support the deployment, configuration and migration of OpenStack-based private cloud environments. This paid, in-office internship offers practical experience in Linux, virtualization, networking and cloud infrastructure while working alongside our technical team.

Success in this role means completing assigned tasks accurately, following security and operational procedures, documenting work clearly and developing the ability to troubleshoot common infrastructure issues. Your contributions will support the organization’s private cloud deployment and migration projects.

Work arrangement: Paid, in-office internship. Candidates based in Hebbal, Bengaluru, or nearby areas are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Assist with installing, configuring and validating OpenStack environments under the guidance of the technical team.
- Support the configuration of virtual machines, images, networks and storage.
- Assist with Linux administration, infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Help assess migration requirements, document dependencies and prepare migration checklists.
- Support workload migration activities, including backup checks, data transfer and post-migration validation.
- Document configurations, deployment steps, troubleshooting findings and operating procedures.
- Follow access-control,



security and change-management practices.
- Communicate progress, raise issues promptly and collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of Linux, including command-line operations, permissions and services.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnets, DNS and routing.
- Familiarity with virtualization, virtual machines and storage concepts.
- An interest in OpenStack, private cloud infrastructure and cloud migration.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to participate in an in-office internship.

Good to have:

- Exposure to OpenStack, KVM, VMware or another virtualization platform.
- Basic Bash or Python scripting skills.
- Familiarity with Git, Ansible or infrastructure automation.
- Relevant coursework, personal labs, academic projects or certifications in Linux, networking or cloud computing.

Students, recent graduates(B.Sc., BCA, BE or Any Bachelor Degree) and candidates with equivalent practical learning are encouraged to apply. Prior skilled experience and certifications are not required.
