We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer with 2-5 & 5-8 years of experience in the wind energy sector to join our Operations & Maintenance team. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of Siemens Gamesa (SGRE) wind turbines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of Siemens Gamesa (SGRE) Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs).
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults to minimise turbine downtime.
- Ensure maximum turbine availability and generation performance.
- Carry out routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
- Attend turbine breakdowns and perform corrective actions safely.
- Follow all safety procedures, LOTO practices, and company HSE guidelines.
- Coordinate with site teams and report daily maintenance activities.
- Support commissioning and testing activities whenever required.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-5 & 5-8 years of experience in Wind Turbine Operations & Maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Gamesa turbines is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, and SCADA.
- Willingness to work at wind farm sites and travel as per project requirements.
