Role & responsibilities:

- Supervise daily production activities as per assigned responsibilities and GMP requirements.

- Ensure proper line clearance, batch/product changeovers, filling/packing activities, and in-process monitoring.

- Maintain BPRs, logbooks, production records, and other required documentation.

- Monitor equipment calibration, maintenance, breakdowns, and coordinate with Engineering.

- Handle deviations, rejections, reconciliation, investigations, CAPA, and SAP-related activities.

- Allocate manpower and ensure proper training and compliance.

- Monitor OEE, production status, FG dispatches, and optimize manpower and equipment utilization.

- Ensure proper storage, disposal of waste/rejected materials, and adherence to statutory/customer requirements.

- Coordinate with cross-functional departments for smooth daily operations.

- Ensure timely completion of training, documentation, and assigned activities.

- Prepare and share daily production status reports with the HOD.

- Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.





Education & Experiences

- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc from a recognized institution.

- Relevant qualification and experience in pharmaceutical production (Packing & Filling )will be preferred.

- Good communication, documentation and problem-solving skills with a solid compliance and quality mindset.

- Hands-on experience in primary and secondary packing/filling operations, line setup and routine production activities.

- Good knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, safety practices and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

- Experience in line clearance, batch changeover, equipment cleaning and verification as per approved procedures.

- Ability to monitor and ensure smooth operation of packing/filling equipment and production lines.
