Purpose/Objective

This role is responsible for managing railway revenue reconciliation, vendor payments, and cash flow coordination with Indian Railways.

Oversees budgeting, reporting, and invoicing for third-party rake movements, while enhancing financial dashboards and analytics.

The role will also ensure compliance with taxation and supports departmental efficiency through SAP-based processes and 5S practices.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Financial Coordination & Cash Flow • Coordinate with Indian Railway officials to maintain railway receivable cash flow.

- Provide monthly cash-flow reports to the accounts team to ensure fund availability as per operational requirements.
- Prepare TDS projections for the Mundra site to enable timely tax payments.

Revenue Reconciliation & Invoicing • Ensure timely reconciliation of revenue share from Indian Railways and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee timely invoicing of third-party rakes handled at Mundra Port Siding, including Dhrub, APSA, APAP, MDCC, and ODC cargo movements.
- Prepare Import-Export and Double Stacked container reports, including rail co-productive analysis.

Budgeting & Reporting • Compile the annual departmental budget and BRM reports, and conduct variance analysis.
- Prepare General Goods & Container BRM reports for Head Office, including comparative figures and phase deviation analysis to identify lagging factors.
- Enhance railway dashboards for CEO position reports, BRM presentations, TAT analysis (Adipur to Adipur), container detail reports, and rake competitor insights.





Vendor & Payment Management • Coordinate for correct and timely raising of bill for various services offered and charges raised by Railway Services viz.

stabling charges and special services as per the T&C; and tariff.

- Ensure timely weekly payments to vendors in alignment with service agreements and financial schedules.

Departmental Excellence •Contribute to the implementation of 5S practices within the department and office area to promote efficiency and workplace organization.

Safety and Compliance: •Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, conducting audits, risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols and emergency response plans.

•To suppot internal in external finincial audits team.

Vendor Management •Support the team to ensuring quality and adherence to timelines as per KPIs & SLA terms.

Digital Mindset •Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Team Development •Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or preferably MBA in a related field.

Work Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years' experience
