We are looking for experienced Night Planners to support day-to-day UK transportation planning and execution activities during the night shift.

The Night Planner will be responsible for creating and optimizing transportation plans, managing loads and tenders, coordinating with carriers and 3PL partners, resolving planning exceptions and ensuring smooth transportation execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, review and optimize transportation plans in a Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Manage unassigned freight units and loads.
- Perform re-optimization and manual planning interventions based on:
- Operational changes
- Customer priorities
- Site requirements
- Available transport capacity
- Create and release load tenders.
- Monitor outstanding tender responses.
- Coordinate with carriers and 3PL partners to secure transportation coverage.
- Review transportation plan outputs and relevant system reports.
- Resolve planning failures, unassigned loads and data exceptions.
- Finalize shipment plans and complete relevant execution activities.
- Perform load confirmation/posting activities.
- Monitor critical transportation movements.
- Maintain accurate shift-handover records covering:
- Open activities
- Exceptions
- Risks
- Dependencies
- Actions
- Owners




- Required completion times

Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years of experience in transportation planning, logistics operations or supply chain execution.
- Hands-on experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Experience with SAP TM/TMS and/or Blue Yonder is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of:
- Load planning
- Transportation optimization
- Shipment planning
- Carrier tendering
- Capacity management
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with UK stakeholders, carriers and 3PL partners.
- Strong problem-solving, prioritization and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently after completion of training and knowledge transfer.
- Valuable working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with email communication and operational reporting.
- Strong focus on process compliance, documentation accuracy and handover quality.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
