nKey Responsibilities

nTechnical Leadership

n

n
- Lead end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery of SAP solutions.
n
- Own technical workstreams and drive delivery independently.
n
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical/code reviews.
n
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable SAP technical solutions.
n
- Identify technical risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
n
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for the project.
n

nSAP Development

n

n
- Perform expert-level ABAP development using Object-Oriented ABAP.
n
- Develop and enhance CDS Views and AMDP solutions.
n
- Work with BAdIs, User Exits, and Implicit/Explicit Enhancements.
n
- Develop Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Dialog Programs, and Workflow enhancements.
n
- Develop and support RFC/BAPI-based integrations .
n
- Develop Fiori OData services using SAP Gateway .
n
- Work with Adobe Forms, SmartForms, and SAPScript.
n
- Apply modern SAP development practices and standards.
n
- Strong understanding of RAP programming model is preferred.
n

nPerformance Optimization & Debugging

n

n
- Perform advanced ABAP debugging and performance analysis .
n
- Use tools such as SAT, ST05, SQL Monitor , and other SAP performance tools.
n
- Analyze memory consumption, update tasks, background jobs, locks, and runtime issues.
n
- Perform performance tuning of custom ABAP programs.
n
- Analyze database performance and recommend appropriate optimizations/indexes.
n
- Identify bottlenecks across application and database layers.
n
- Work closely with SAP Basis teams to resolve:
n
- Long-running jobs
n
- Memory issues
n
- ABAP dumps
n
- Gateway issues
n
- RFC failures
n
- Transport issues
n
- HANA performance problems
n

nCross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with:

- Prepare technical architecture and solution design documents.

- Create sequence diagrams and data flow diagrams .

- Design interface architecture and integration flows.

- Prepare detailed technical specifications.

- Develop technical implementation roadmaps.
n
- Participate in solution architecture and technical design discussions.
n
- Drive technical decisions based on scalability, performance, maintainability, and SAP best practices.

nIntegration Experience

n

- Work with IDocs, RFC, BAPI, OData, REST APIs, and SOAP services .
n
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite .
n
- Support event-based and file-based integrations.
n
- Work with SAP Gateway and integration interfaces.
n
- Knowledge of SAP TM integrations is highly desirable.

- Prepare executive-quality technical presentations and documentation.
