News Desk (Internship)

nWe are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented News Desk Intern to join our editorial team. The intern will assist the newsroom in monitoring, curating, writing, and publishing news content across digital platforms.

nKey Responsibilities:

- Monitor breaking news, trends, social media, and wire updates
n
- Assist in writing, rewriting, and updating news stories
n
- Create SEO-friendly headlines and captions
n
- Fact-check information before publication
n
- Coordinate with reporters, photographers, and video teams
n
- Upload stories, galleries, and videos on CMS
n
- Track trending topics and audience engagement
n
- Support the editorial team during live events and breaking news situations
n

nRequirements:

- Strong command of English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus)
n
- Interest in journalism, digital media, and current affairs
n
- Basic understanding of SEO and social media trends
n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment

- Valuable communication and time management skills

- Familiarity with CMS and digital publishing tools is preferred

nEligibility:

- Journalism, Mass Media, Literature, or Communication students/graduates preferred
n
- Prior internship or campus media experience is an advantage
