Role & responsibilities

Network Operations & Management

- Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise network infrastructure. • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, internet, and data center networks.

• Monitor network health, capacity, utilization, and performance using monitoring tools.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical network incidents and outages.

- Maintain network uptime in line with business SLAs. Infrastructure & Technologies
- Manage Cisco routing and switching environments including Catalyst, Nexus, and wireless solutions.

• Support technologies such as: o BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS o VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP o SD-WAN and VPN technologies o Firewalls and network security solutions o Cisco ACI, NAC, ISE, and wireless controllers o Cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Oversee network upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor network engineers and support teams.
- Allocate tasks and manage operational priorities.

• Conduct performance reviews and technical coaching.
- Ensure adherence to operational processes and documentation standards. Incident & Change Management
- Manage Major Incident handling and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

• Participate in CAB meetings and approve network changes.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management.
- Coordinate with TAC, ISPs, and third-party vendors during escalations. Security & Compliance
- Ensure network security best practices are implemented.
- Work closely with security teams on audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
- Manage firewall policies, NAC solutions, segmentation, and access control.

Project Management
- Plan and execute network-related projects.




- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure deployments.
- Prepare project documentation, implementation plans, and risk assessments.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain network diagrams, SOPs, inventory, and technical documentation.
- Prepare operational reports, service metrics, and management dashboards.
- Track KPIs and service improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile Strong hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise wireless solutions and WLAN architecture.

- Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9800 Series Wireless LAN Controllers, including high availability, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and software upgrades.
- Experience supporting Cisco Catalyst/Aironet Access Points and enterprise WLAN deployments.
- Robust understanding of 802.11 wireless technologies, RF fundamentals, channels, channel width, transmit power, coverage, capacity, and interference management.
- Experience with 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz wireless networks, including Wi-Fi 6/6E and newer wireless technologies.
- Troubleshoot wireless client connectivity, authentication, roaming, RF/interference, performance, and coverage-related issues.
- Experience with Cisco wireless security and authentication, including 802.1X, WPA2/WPA3, RADIUS, Cisco ISE, and guest access solutions.
- Experience with Cisco FlexConnect, mobility/roaming, WLAN policies, RF profiles, AP groups, and wireless QoS.
- Experience in planning and executing enterprise wireless deployments, refreshes, migrations, and capacity expansion.
- Ability to analyze wireless performance and troubleshoot using Cisco wireless management and monitoring tools.
- Experience with wireless site surveys, RF analysis, and optimization using tools such as Ekahau is preferred.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki wireless solutions is preferred.
