Role Description The Network & Infrastructure Engineer role at Smart Node is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara, Gujarat. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure that supports Smart Node’s home automation and IoT solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring network devices, monitoring performance, and ensuring high availability and security of network services. The engineer will troubleshoot network issues, coordinate with internal teams and partners, and document network configurations and procedures. The role also includes continuously optimizing infrastructure, supporting upgrades, and contributing to scalable,



secure network architecture aligned with Smart Node’s growth.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of routers, switches, and related devices.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Network Infrastructure design and deployment, covering LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and IoT-centric environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Network Engineering skills, including implementing scalable architectures and integrating network solutions with automation platforms.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Troubleshooting capabilities for diagnosing and resolving connectivity, performance, and configuration issues.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Network Security practices, including firewalls, access control, encryption, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Relevant technical degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with IoT, home automation, and smart building technologies is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Vadodara, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
