About The Ro le

World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) is seeking a highly skilled Network & Security Engineer for a contract position. This role offers an excellent chance for professionals with extensive experience in network security and infrastructure to contribute to complex projects in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining network security solutions, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting the deployment of advanced networking technologies.

This position is remote, with an initial duration of 12 months, which may be extended based on project requirements and performan ce.





Qualificat ions The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 14+ years of experience in network engineering and security. A strong background in firewall management, routing, and switching is essential. Practical exposure to Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management) is required, along with experience in enterprise network infrastructure and load balancing solutions.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills, the ability to implement complex network solutions, and a solid understanding of security protocols and practices. Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Palo Alto Networks certifications, or Fortinet certifications will be an added advan tage.

Responsibi lities The Network & Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network architectures.

Key responsibilities include configuring and managing firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, and Cisco, ensuring robust network security and connectivity. The role involves managing routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, troubleshooting network issues, and optimizing network performance. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy and support Infoblox DDI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing network infrastructure.





Additionally, the role requires monitoring network health, conducting security assessments, and implementing necessary upgrades or patches. The engineer will also be involved in supporting load balancing solutions and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness for critical network comp onents.
