Role Description The Network Engineer is a full-time role based in Bhubaneswar with a hybrid work model, combining on-site responsibilities with some work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, the Network Engineer will

- Design, implement, configure and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructures, including switches, routers, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions for client environments.
- Day-to-day activities include monitoring network performance, diagnosing and resolving connectivity and configuration issues,



and performing routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure high availability.
- The role involves collaborating with internal teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements, document network architectures, and support cloud and cybersecurity initiatives.
- The Network Engineer will also participate in incident response, apply best practices for network security, and contribute to continuous improvement of standards and procedures.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Network Engineering and Network Design, with experience planning, deploying, and optimizing enterprise or datacentre networks.
- Hands-on Network Administration skills, including configuration and management of switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting network issues using diagnostic tools and methodologies, with a focus on minimizing downtime and ensuring reliability.
- Knowledge of Network Security principles and practices, such as access control, segmentation, encryption, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (e.g., Azure, AWS), virtualization, and integration with managed services environments is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Network+, or equivalent professional credentials are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field, or comparable practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and manage multiple projects and priorities.
