Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Network and Security Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise networking, security technologies, and customer-facing project delivery. The candidate should have worked in a partner ecosystem / system integrator environment and must be capable of handling customer requirements, solution implementation, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support independently.

The role requires strong experience in routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, and network security

, with exposure to leading OEM technologies including Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise network and security infrastructure.
- Work on routing and switching technologies , Knowledge should be at a CCNP Level
- Deploy and troubleshoot Cisco switching, routing, wireless, and security solutions.
- Configure and manage enterprise wireless networks including Cisco Catalyst / Meraki wireless solutions.
- Implement and support firewall solutions from Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks.
- Perform firewall policy configuration, NAT, VPN, security profiles, and traffic troubleshooting.
- Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewall, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.
- Participate in customer calls, technical discussions, project reviews, and troubleshooting bridges.
- Prepare basic technical documentation including implementation plans, network diagrams, configuration backups, and handover documents.
- Coordinate with OEM TAC teams, internal teams, and customer technical teams for issue resolution.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales teams with technical inputs where required.




- Follow change management, incident management, and escalation processes.
- Guide junior engineers and support team members during deployment and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure network and security devices are configured as per standard hardening and best practices.

Required Experience

- 4+ years of experience in enterprise networking and network security.
- Prior experience working in a partner, system integrator, or managed services ecosystem is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in Cisco switching and routing platforms.
- Experience in wireless deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Working knowledge of firewall technologies, preferably Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks.
- Experience in handling customer-facing implementation and support engagements.
- Ability to independently manage technical calls, troubleshooting sessions, and escalations.

Technical Skills

- Switching: VLAN, Trunking, STP, RSTP, EtherChannel, VTP, Port Security
- Routing: Static Routing, OSPF, BGP, Policy-Based Routing
- High Availability: HSRP, VRRP, Link Redundancy, Firewall HA
- Wireless: Cisco Wireless, Meraki Wireless, SSID, RF basics, roaming, authentication
- Security: Firewall Policies, NAT, VPN, IPSec, SSL VPN, Security Profiles




- OEM Exposure: Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks
- Tools: CLI, GUI-based management portals, basic monitoring and ticketing tools
- Documentation: HLD/LLD inputs, implementation reports, RCA, configuration documents

Preferred Certifications

- CCNA or equivalent certification is mandatory/preferred.
- CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security will be an added advantage.
- Fortinet NSE certification will be an added advantage.
- Palo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE certification will be an added advantage.
- Cisco Wireless or Meraki certification will be an added advantage.
