nAbout the role

nBuzzClan is looking for a NetSuite techno-functional consultant to join our Finance Systems team in Mohali. You will support US client engagements covering NetSuite implementation, data migration and ongoing application support, working alongside the client's finance team and their NetSuite implementation partner.

nCurrent work includes a Dynamics GP to NetSuite migration and a related payroll transition, so exposure to legacy ERP environments is useful. Between project peaks you will support other engagements across the practice, so we are looking for someone comfortable working across more than one account.

- Validate migrated data — balances, master data, open items — between source systems and NetSuite, and track discrepancies to closure.

- Support parallel running and reconciliation during cutover periods.
n
- Prepare and format data for import templates where source systems lack clean exports.
n
- Support UAT execution and defect triage; assist with opening-balance loads and balance roll-forward.
n
- Build saved searches, reports and dashboards; configure forms, fields and workflows.
n
- Handle user and role administration, integration monitoring and NetSuite release review.
n
- Support period-end close activities.
n




- Log and follow through support cases with Oracle.
n

nLegacy ERP support (Dynamics GP)

- Review and clear unposted entries with client finance approval.
n
- Routine SQL maintenance — integrity checks, index and statistics upkeep, transaction-log management, backup verification.
n
- Occasional reports, SmartList and Integration Manager builds, and module setup.
n

nPayroll data migration

n

n
- Extract and map payroll data — employee master, compensation, deductions, tax setup, accruals, year-to-date figures — into target import templates.
n
- Reconcile cutover periods and support verification of the first live payroll run.
n
- Support the payroll journal-entry integration into NetSuite.

nGeneral

- Maintain a shared work list and attend regular client check-ins.
n
- Produce monthly activity reporting.
n
- Support other engagements across the practice as required.
n

nRequirements

n

n
- 4+ years of techno-functional experience with Oracle NetSuite — implementation, migration or application support. You should have configured NetSuite, not only used it.
n
- Working understanding of core accounting concepts: chart of accounts, subledgers, period close, opening balances and reconciliations.
n
- Robust data handling — advanced Excel, SQL, and scripting in SuiteScript,



Python or similar.

- Experience working directly with client stakeholders: running working sessions and documenting outcomes clearly.
n
- Good written and spoken English.
n
- Care and discretion when handling confidential financial and personal data.

nPreferred

- Microsoft Dynamics GP experience, particularly SQL-side administration and batch recovery.
n
- Prior involvement in a GP to NetSuite migration.
n
- Payroll systems exposure; Paychex an advantage.
n
- Higher education, non-profit or grant-funded accounting background.
n
- NetSuite certification (SuiteFoundation, Administrator or ERP Consultant).

nWorking with AI

nBuzzClan uses AI tools as part of normal delivery, and we expect the same of this role — drafting and debugging scripts and queries, working through reconciliation logic, preparing mapping files, and producing documentation.

nEqually important is knowing where to stop. This role handles financial records, so output is always checked before it reaches a client, and client data stays within approved tools. We are interested in candidates who can show how they use these tools in practice and how they verify the results.
