Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer with strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate should be comfortable designing, developing, testing, and debugging enterprise-grade applications, and should demonstrate solid object-oriented programming fundamentals along with the ability to work independently and within a team.

This role is suited for developers who have practical experience building REST APIs, working with relational databases, and following modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications using C# and .NET Core

Design and implement RESTful Web APIs following best practices

Write clean, readable, maintainable, and well-documented code

Work extensively with SQL Server writing queries, stored procedures, and optimizing performance

Use Entity Framework / EF Core for data access and ORM-based development

Debug application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes

Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams

Implement new features, enhancements, and performance improvements

Follow established coding standards, design patterns, and development processes

Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions

Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes where applicable

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field

4+ years of hands-on experience in .NET application development

Strong programming fundamentals and solid grasp of:

Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts

Variables, data types, operators, and expressions

Conditional statements and loops

Methods, delegates, and events

Collections (List, Dictionary, Set, etc.)





Exception handling

LINQ queries and lambda expressions

Asynchronous programming (async/await)

Ability to write syntactically correct, productive, and scalable code independently

Ability to read and understand unfamiliar codebases and explain execution flow

Skilled at identifying syntax, runtime, boundary, and logical errors

Basic to intermediate understanding of time and space complexity

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate technical reasoning clearly

.NET-Specific Knowledge

Candidates should have strong working knowledge of:

C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core — application and API development

Web API / REST API design and implementation

Entity Framework / EF Core — code-first and database-first approaches

SQL Server — queries, joins, indexing, stored procedures

LINQ for data querying and manipulation

HTML, CSS, JavaScript for basic front-end integration

Git for version control and collaborative development

Middleware, dependency injection, and configuration in ASP.NET Core

Authentication/authorization concepts (JWT, OAuth basics)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, etc.)

Exposure to Microservices architecture

Familiarity with Angular or React for full-stack development

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)

Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker

Understanding of design patterns (Repository, Singleton, Factory, etc.)

Contributions to open-source projects or personal/professional portfolio projects
