Senior .NET Engineer – Legacy & Modernization

Location: Offshore – India | Schedule: EST hours

Seeking Senior .NET Engineers with strong hands-on experience supporting and modernizing complex legacy financial applications . Banking/Financial Services experience is strongly preferred.

Required: C#, VB.NET, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 5–8, ASP.NET WebForms/MVC/Web API, WCF/SOAP, REST APIs, Windows Services, batch processing, SQL Server, stored procedures, query tuning, ADO.NET, IIS, and production debugging.

Preferred: Azure, Oracle/ODP.NET, SQL CLR, AngularJS, SFTP, Azure Functions, IdentityServer/OpenID Connect, and retirement/pension systems.

Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot production issues, trace data across UI/API/database layers, resolve financial transaction/reconciliation issues, maintain legacy applications, optimize SQL, and support modernization to modern .NET/Azure APIs.





Significant: Candidates must have genuine hands-on experience and be able to clearly explain their resume, including a legacy VB.NET/WebForms application, production issue, WCF/SOAP, SQL tuning, batch/Windows Service, and financial-services project experience.

FINANCIAL SERVICES EXPERIENCE

Banking or Financial Services experience is strongly preferred.
