Role & responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Design technical architecture blueprints to support product roadmaps, i.e. translate product requirements into application design.
- Drive strategic and tactical decision making from a technology perspective, including software modernization.
- Mentor, train and lead developers in line with project objectives and priorities.
- Design and develop client-server software utilizing MVC, C++, C# .NET, WPF/ WCF and RDBMS, HTML
- Develop Proof of Concepts, perform structured code reviews, critiquing code produced by others, and providing constructive comments.
- Deliver detailed effort estimates for software design implementation based on Agile principles.
- Investigate and analyze software related issues.
- Own software architecture and design documentation.
- Configure and maintain development and deployment environments if needed with the DevOps Engineer.

The essential requirements of the job include:

- Should have graduated in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent qualification)




- Should have overall experience of around 8+ years having minimum 3 years in .Net with robust architecture, design and software development skills.
- Working with Embedded systems design and development experience
- Experienced in application architectural design of sophisticated software and promoting technology enhancement with non-technical partners.
- Database applications using PostgreSQL, SQL Server or similar
- Network and Software security essentials.
- Domain Driven Design (DDD) and design patterns
- Flexible approach to problems solving with a sense for technical pragmatism and a strong focus on delivery, without sacrificing quality.
- Structured and influential communicator: verbally, in written documentation and in presentations.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- Biotechnology/Life Sciences industry
- Worked in a similar senior development position with highly capable developers
- Experience in Agile and Continuous Delivery (CD) processes.
- GMP & regulatory environments
- QMS and Documentation Practices

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
