Responsibilities

- Provide specialized care for newborns, particularly premature and critically ill infants, in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests to monitor and evaluate the health and development of neonates.

- Administer life-sustaining treatments and perform advanced medical procedures specific to neonatal care.

- Offer guidance and support to families, educating them on their infant's condition and care requirements.

- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in neonatology to ensure evidence-based practice.

- Participate in neonatal emergency situations, providing immediate and effective interventions.

- Contribute to the training and mentorship of junior staff and healthcare professionals within the department.
