Role Overview

We are seeking a Murex Senior Specialist with 10‑15 years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, and supporting Murex solutions in complex financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end‑to‑end Murex implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production rollout.

- Provide expert guidance on Murex modules such as MX.3, MX.5, Risk, Treasury, and Market Data integration.

- Drive performance tuning, optimization, and technical upgrades to ensure system stability and scalability.

- Mentor junior analysts and developers, fostering best practices and knowledge transfer across the team.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate trading and risk requirements into robust Murex functionality.

- Conduct impact analysis for regulatory changes and ensure compliance within the Murex framework.

- Develop and maintain custom scripts, plugins, and extensions using Java, SQL, and Murex APIs.

- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions promptly.

- Produce technical documentation, configuration guides, and training materials for end users.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10–15 years of Murex implementation and support experience in banking,



asset management, or capital markets.

- Deep knowledge of Murex modules (Risk, Trading, Treasury, Market Data, Collateral Management).

- Robust programming skills in Java, C++, Python, and SQL/PLSQL.

- Proven expertise in performance tuning, data modeling, and system integration (e.g., FIX, Bloomberg, Reuters).

- Experience with Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and version control (Git, SVN).

- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure in production environments.

- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business users.

Preferred Qualifications

- Murex certification(s) (e.g., Murex Certified Professional).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, MiFID II, or Dodd‑Frank.
