Senior D365 Finance Functional Consultant - Summary Role Overview
Seeking an experienced D365 Finance Functional Consultant (5-8 years) with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL), Budgeting, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP) to lead end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations. The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders, drive solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, training, and go-live support.
- Conduct business requirement gathering workshops.
- Perform Fit-Gap Analysis and recommend D365 Finance solutions.
- Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
- Configure D365 Finance modules based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams for customizations and integrations.
1. Finance Domain Expertise General Ledger (GL)
- Chart of Accounts configuration.
- Financial Dimensions and Account Structures.
- Ledger setup and journal processing.
- Month-end and Year-end closing.
- Financial reporting and compliance.
Budgeting
- Budget planning and budget control.
- Budget register entries.
- Budget allocation and forecasting processes.
Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Utilize D365 Data Management Framework (DMF/DIXF).
