The Role

We are hiring an Associate – Software Engineering (Mobile) to contribute to Eloit’s Mobile Engineering efforts across Edisapp, Kristapp, BibleOn, Credisapp, and future products.

This is an Associate role at Eloit, reporting directly to the Lead - Software Engineering (Mobile). The role involves developing, enhancing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications, collaborating with development and business teams, and contributing to the delivery of reliable and high-quality mobile solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in mobile application development, good problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning recent technologies and improving application performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, test, and maintain mobile applications across Eloit products, including Edisapp, Kristapp, BibleOn, Credisapp, and future mobile applications.
- Contribute to mobile application development using Flutter and Dart, following established coding standards and development practices.
- Assist in developing scalable, reusable, and modular mobile application components for Android and iOS platforms.
- Build and maintain reusable UI components, shared utilities, and common functionalities across mobile applications.




- Integrate mobile applications with APIs and backend services, ensuring proper data handling and reliable application functionality.
- Work with state management, local storage, caching, and other mobile development practices under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, performance issues, and application crashes to improve mobile application stability and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve code quality, maintainability, and development practices.
- Support Android and iOS application releases, including build preparation, testing, version updates, release notes, and app store submissions.
- Follow established security, privacy, and compliance practices while developing mobile applications, particularly for products handling student, parent, school, parish, and faith-community data.
- Monitor and investigate production issues and provide timely fixes under the guidance of senior team members.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, UI/UX, Customer Experience, Implementation, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable and user-friendly mobile applications.
- Stay updated with Flutter, Dart, Android, iOS, and related mobile development technologies, and continuously improve technical skills.
- Follow established engineering practices for version control, documentation, testing, debugging, and application performance.

Requirements

- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in mobile application development, preferably in a service-based or product development environment.
- Mobile Development Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart for developing mobile applications.
- API Integration: Experience in integrating REST APIs,



handling JSON data, authentication, and working with backend services.
- State Management: Working knowledge of state management approaches such as Bloc, Provider, Riverpod, GetX, or similar frameworks.
- UI & Code Quality: Ability to develop reusable UI components and write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code following established development standards.
- Debugging & Performance: Good understanding of debugging, error handling, application performance, and resolving functional and technical issues.
- Version Control & Development Tools: Experience with Git and familiarity with standard development workflows and collaboration practices.
- Build & Release: Basic understanding of Android and iOS build, testing, and release processes is an added advantage.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication, and a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with cross-functional team.
