Job Overview

We are seeking a Military & Defense Research Analyst to support research and documentation related to military operations, defense activities, government institutions, military organizations, and international government services.

This is a civilian research position. The ideal candidate will have previous professional experience in the armed forces, defense sector, foreign service, diplomatic service, government service, or a closely related operational environment.

Candidates should be able to apply their skilled experience to research information, evaluate reliable sources, understand government and military structures, and prepare clear and accurate written reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research related to military operations, defense activities, government organizations, and related institutional developments.
- Research military units, organizational structures, roles, equipment, procedures, and operational activities.
- Research government departments, foreign-service institutions, diplomatic services, and official government activities where relevant to assigned projects.
- Review publicly available military, defense, government, and official institutional sources.
- Collect, verify, compare, and organize information from multiple reliable sources.
- Prepare concise research briefs, reports, summaries, and analytical documents.
- Review official reports, government publications, military documents, institutional publications, and other relevant public-source materials.
- Apply practical knowledge of military, defense, government, or foreign-service environments when evaluating research material.
- Maintain organized research notes, source references, and supporting documentation.




- Identify relevant developments, changes, and information related to assigned research topics.
- Present research findings clearly during virtual meetings when required.
- Collaborate with the research team and independently manage assigned research projects.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professional standards when handling research materials.

Required Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in one or more of the following:
- Armed forces or military service
- Defense organizations
- Foreign service or diplomatic service
- Government service
- Military or government-related institutions
- A closely related operational or administrative workplace
- Strong understanding of military, defense, government, or foreign-service structures and terminology.
- Strong research and information-gathering skills.
- Ability to evaluate and compare information from multiple reliable sources.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to summarize complex information clearly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good computer skills and ability to organize research materials and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience serving in the military or armed forces in an operational, administrative, intelligence-support,



logistics, communications, engineering, or other relevant function.
- Previous experience in foreign service, diplomatic service, embassy/consular work, or government affairs.
- Experience preparing military reports, operational summaries, government reports, briefings, assessments, or official documentation.
- Experience working with military manuals, government publications, official reports, defense documents, or institutional records.
- Experience conducting research using publicly available government, military, defense, or international institutional sources.
- Degree or diploma in Military Studies, Defense Studies, Security Studies, International Relations, Public Administration, Government, Political Science, or a related field.
- Experience with research databases, spreadsheets, document-management systems, or other research tools.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can combine professional experience in military, defense, government, or foreign-service environments with strong research and writing abilities.

The ideal candidate will understand how military and government organizations operate and will be able to use that practical knowledge to locate, evaluate, organize, and communicate relevant information accurately.

Experience in military service or foreign service is highly relevant, but candidates will be considered based on the qualifications and experience they bring to the position.

Compensation

₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
