Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Millwright/Equipment Engineer to supervise the installation, alignment, inspection, preservation, testing and commissioning of rotating and static equipment for an Oil & Gas EPC project in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the receipt, preservation, installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Manage the installation and alignment of pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes and other rotating equipment.
- Supervise the erection of vessels, tanks, heat exchangers and other static equipment.
- Review equipment drawings, datasheets, method statements, installation procedures and vendor manuals.
- Verify equipment foundations, anchor bolts, baseplates, levelling, grouting, coupling and shaft alignment.
- Perform and verify precision alignment using laser alignment tools and dial indicators.
- Troubleshoot issues involving vibration, bearings, seals, lubrication and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with piping, civil, electrical, instrumentation, QA/QC, commissioning, vendors and client representatives.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, ITPs and applicable international standards.
- Support mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, punch-list clearance and final handover.
- Prepare progress reports,



inspection records and equipment installation documentation.
- Ensure strict compliance with project HSE requirements and permit-to-work procedures.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in Oil & Gas, petrochemical or EPC projects.
- Strong experience in the installation and alignment of rotating and static equipment.
- Sound knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, vessels, tanks and heat exchangers.
- Ability to interpret equipment drawings, layouts, P&IDs;, datasheets and vendor documentation.
- Familiarity with API, ASME and other applicable engineering standards.
- Previous experience on Saudi Aramco, SABIC or other major Oil & Gas projects is preferred.
- GCC project experience will be an advantage.
- Robust coordination, reporting and problem-solving skills.

- Must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

- Oil & Gas EPC construction experience is mandatory.
