Microbiologist | 3–4 Years Experience

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Laboratory Microbiologist to join our NABL-accredited Food & Water Testing Laboratory. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in microbiology, good laboratory practices, and a willingness to learn and grow in a quality-focused environment. The candidate should be looking for a long-term job role.

The candidate will perform microbiological testing, prepare laboratory reports, record and verify test results, and assist in maintaining laboratory quality and documentation. The laboratory performs testing of water, food, environmental and other relevant samples.

Responsibilities

· Perform microbiological testing of food, water and environmental samples.

· Prepare microbiological test reports.

· Record, verify and maintain analytical/test results.

· Perform sample preparation and microbiological analysis as per laboratory procedures.

· Maintain laboratory records, worksheets and related documentation.

· Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory SOPs.

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the microbiology laboratory.

· Assist in quality documentation and NABL-related laboratory activities.

· Handle laboratory instruments, media, cultures and other microbiological materials as per procedures.

· Ensure proper identification, handling and storage of samples.

· Support other laboratory activities as required.

Requirements

· M.Sc. Microbiology – Mandatory

· Basic microbiology laboratory knowledge

· Knowledge of microbiological testing and laboratory practices

· Good computer skills

· Attention to detail

· Responsible and proactive attitude

· Willingness to learn and take responsibility

· Freshers with relevant academic knowledge are welcome

Preferred:

· Candidates who can join immediately or within 1 week

· 3–4 Years of Experience in Testing Laboratory

· Experience in Food & Water Microbiological Testing will be preferred
