Position: Sr. MEP Engineer

Reporting To: PMC Project Manager / Project Head

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor MEP works at site as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with MEP contractors, consultants, civil/structural teams, vendors, and client representatives for smooth project execution.
- Review and monitor HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, and other MEP systems.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with approved requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure MEP installation quality as per approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Check contractor measurements, RA bills, quantity reconciliation, and verify work completed at site.
- Monitor project progress and identify delays, technical issues, and coordination requirements.
- Ensure proper MEP coordination with civil, architectural, and structural works and resolve site clashes.
- Review testing & commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation and handover of MEP systems.
- Prepare/verify daily, weekly, and monthly MEP progress reports, inspection reports, and technical observations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS Codes, NBC, fire safety requirements, and project specifications.




- Monitor snagging, rectification, punch-point closure, as-built drawings, O&M; manuals, and final handover documentation.
- Support the PMC team in technical meetings, contractor coordination meetings, and client discussions.

Technical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of MEP construction, installation, testing & commissioning.
- Positive understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV and utility services.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, SLDs, schematics, layouts, BOQ and specifications.
- Experience in PMC / consultancy / industrial / commercial construction projects preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with project monitoring/reporting tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of quality control, safety requirements, measurements, billing, and contractor management.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / relevant MEP discipline.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in MEP execution / PMC / project supervision.
- Candidates with strong experience in industrial or large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
