About Enlog
Enlog is an Energy Intelligence and IoT company helping commercial and industrial facilities monitor, control and optimize electricity consumption.
Our solutions combine electrical monitoring, HVAC intelligence, sensors, automation, IoT connectivity and AI-driven analytics to identify energy wastage and continuously improve building performance.
We work across hotels, hospitals, offices, coworking spaces, warehouses, commercial buildings and manufacturing facilities, with projects ranging from VRV/VRF and split AC environments to large central chilled-water plants.
About the Role
We are looking for a MEP Manager who can take ownership of B2B technical projects from site inspection through installation, commissioning and handover.
This is not a pure energy-auditing or report-writing role.
We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience understanding existing HVAC infrastructure, identifying practical energy-saving opportunities, designing the required intervention, and executing the project at site.
The person will initially work closely with the founders and will be responsible for building Enlog's B2B technical execution capability and field-partner network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Inspection & Technical Assessment
- Conduct technical surveys of hotels, offices, hospitals, warehouses, manufacturing plants and commercial buildings.
- Study existing electrical and HVAC infrastructure.
- Understand chillers, pumps, AHUs, cooling towers, VRV/VRF, split ACs, VFDs and other major energy-consuming systems.
- Review existing BMS/control systems wherever available.
- Identify practical opportunities for energy optimization based on actual site conditions and operating practices.
2. Energy Optimization & Solution Engineering
- Identify where energy is being wasted and determine the technical intervention required to reduce consumption.
- Develop energy optimization strategies for HVAC and electrical systems.
- Determine sensor, meter, actuator, VFD and control requirements.
- Design installation architecture for Enlog products such as EnPro, EnMate and EnSense.
- Prepare technical BOMs, equipment lists, installation requirements and project execution plans.
- Develop control and automation concepts for HVAC and electrical systems.
- Define measurement points required to establish baseline consumption and validate savings.
3. HVAC & Controls Engineering The candidate should be comfortable working with:
- Chillers and chilled-water systems
- Chilled-water pumps
- Condenser-water pumps
- Cooling towers
- AHUs
- VRV/VRF systems
- Split AC systems
- VFDs
- Temperature, pressure and flow sensors
- Electrical panels and MCCs
- BMS and HVAC control systems
- Modbus/BACnet or similar industrial communication protocols
4. Project Execution
- Convert the technical design into a practical installation plan.
- Coordinate electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, controls and networking contractors.
- Build and manage a network of qualified field installation partners.
- Assign work and supervise contractors during project execution.
- Ensure installation follows Enlog's technical drawings, SOPs and safety requirements.
- Resolve technical issues during installation.
5. Commissioning Take ownership of complete system commissioning, including:
- Electrical measurement verification
- Sensor verification
- EnPro commissioning
- EnSense commissioning
- Gateway/network connectivity
- VFD communication and control
- Modbus/BMS integration where applicable
- Actuator/control verification
- Dashboard/data verification
- Automation logic
- Fail-safe and manual override testing
Ensure the complete system is working correctly before customer handover. 6. Team Building
This is an important part of the role.
The candidate will be expected to build Enlog's B2B field execution capability by:
- Identifying and onboarding electrical/HVAC/controls contractors
- Developing a network of reliable installation partners
- Training technicians and contractors on Enlog's installation methodology
- Creating installation and commissioning SOPs
- Establishing quality-control procedures
- Building a repeatable project execution process
- Gradually building an internal technical/commissioning team as project volume increases
7. Post-Deployment Support
- Work with the remote operations team to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Analyze equipment and sensor data to identify performance issues.
- Coordinate field visits when physical intervention is required.
- Support continuous optimization of deployed systems.
- Participate in performance reviews and savings validation.
What We Are Looking ForMust Have
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in HVAC, MEP, building automation, energy optimization or HVAC project execution.
- Solid practical understanding of chiller plants and HVAC systems.
- Hands-on experience with VFDs and HVAC controls.
- Experience conducting site surveys and converting findings into executable solutions.
- Experience managing electrical/HVAC/controls contractors.
- Experience with installation and commissioning.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot technical problems at site.
- Ability to read electrical, HVAC and control drawings.
- Strong project-management and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites across India.
