We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Typist to join our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical transcription and terminology, particularly in radiology (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound) and pathology. Key Responsibilities

- Transcribe and type radiological reports from dictation, handwritten notes or voice recordings.
- Prepare, format, and finalize reports for X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasound, and Echo investigations.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in medical terminology, patient data and formatting.
- Ensure timely delivery of all reports to respective consultants and departments.
- Liaise with radiologists, physicians to clarify any discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data at all times.
- Manage electronic and hard copy records systematically.
- Assist in administrative duties within the radiology or pathology departments when required.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical typist in a hospital, diagnostic center,



or radiology/pathology setup.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to radiology and pathology.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 50–60 WPM preferred).
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS/HIS systems is an advantage.
- Good command of English and medical language comprehension.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of confidentiality regulations .

Preferred Qualifications:

- Diploma or certification in Medical Transcription or related field.
- Previous experience in a diagnostic imaging setup.
- Experience using voice recognition or transcription software (optional but beneficial).

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
