We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience in heavy fabrication and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) works, along with solid AutoCAD drafting skills. The candidate will be responsible for design coordination, fabrication drawings, site support, and ensuring quality execution of structural steel works.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fabrication & PEB Work Execution

- Plan and monitor heavy fabrication activities (girders, columns, trusses, staircases, railings, etc.)
- Supervise fabrication and erection of PEB structures
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards

1. AutoCAD Drafting & Design Support

- Prepare and review shop drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD
- Modify drawings based on site requirements and consultant/client comments
- Coordinate with design and structural teams for drawing approvals

1. Material Planning & Coordination

- Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and BOM
- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of materials
- Verify incoming materials as per specifications

1. Quality Control & Inspection

- Ensure fabrication quality as per IS standards and project requirements
- Conduct inspections for welding, alignment, and dimensional accuracy
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for documentation and approvals

1. Site Coordination & Execution

- Coordinate with site teams for erection and installation
- Resolve technical issues during fabrication and erection stages




- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of work

1. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain fabrication and erection records
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Assist in billing measurements and documentation

1. Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

1. Experience Required

- 3 years of experience in heavy fabrication / structural steel / PEB projects
- Experience in infrastructure, industrial sheds, or railway structures preferred

1. Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes and PEB structures
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting mandatory)
- Understanding of welding standards and structural detailing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills
