Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role located in Indore.

The Mechanical

Engineer will design and optimize wire drawing and galvanizing machinery and related mechanical systems, using CAD tools to create detailed models, assemblies, and technical drawings. Daily responsibilities include performing calculations, selecting materials and components, supporting installation and commissioning activities, and troubleshooting mechanical issues on equipment. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, coordinating small projects, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.



The engineer will also support research and development efforts to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, including mechanics, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Machine Design for industrial equipment and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Ability to manage projects, coordinate tasks, and meet deadlines using effective Project Management practices.
- Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D;) for improving machinery and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Practical exposure to industrial machinery, preferably in metal processing or heavy manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to relevant engineering and industry standards.
