Role Description The Mechanical Draft role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The individual in this role prepares detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software, based on engineering specifications and project requirements. Daily activities include collaborating with mechanical engineers, reviewing design inputs, updating drawings to reflect design changes, and ensuring that all documentation meets applicable standards and company guidelines.

The role also supports the inspection and maintenance teams with clear technical drawings and layout plans,



helping to ensure accurate installation and efficient operation of engineering equipment. This position requires careful attention to detail, solid technical communication, and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional project teams.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, with the ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and software used for mechanical drafting and layout preparation.
- Experience or familiarity with Maintenance practices for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of Inspection processes, quality checks, and documentation related to mechanical components.
- Exposure to Automotive or similar mechanical sectors, with understanding of mechanical assemblies and industrial standards.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting from a recognized institution.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawings and project deadlines.
