Job Purpose To prepare accurate and detailed mechanical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring drawings meet project requirements, engineering standards, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, fabrication drawings, and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop drawings based on engineering concepts, sketches, specifications, and design inputs.
- Prepare and update GA drawings, component drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed drawings.
- Incorporate revisions and modifications as per engineering requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Coordinate with Engineers and the Design & Engineering team to clarify drawing requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, and consistency before submission.
- Support preparation of drawings for industrial / infrastructure / plant engineering projects, as applicable.
- Follow company drawing standards, templates,



naming conventions, and document-control procedures.

Required Skills
- Valuable working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting, dimensions, tolerances, sections, and projections.
- Good understanding of engineering drawing standards and practices.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively with Engineers and project teams.

Preferred
- Exposure to AutoCAD 3D or other drafting/design software
- Experience in preparing fabrication and manufacturing drawings will be preferred.
