Job Title: PCB Soldering & BOM Optimization Engineer/Technician and Fitter Job Responsibilities: Perform PCB soldering, component replacement, rework, and basic PCB assembly. Identify electronic components and verify part numbers as per the BOM. Cross-check BOM part numbers, component values, packages, ratings, and specifications.

Identify suitable alternative components based on availability, cost, package, and electrical specifications. Support BOM optimization and cost reduction activities. Check component availability and coordinate with the purchase team for required components.

Read and understand circuit diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs. Perform through-hole (THT) and SMD soldering/rework. Inspect assembled PCBs for soldering defects, component orientation, shorts, and missing components.

Support prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering modifications.



Maintain proper component and PCB records. Required Skills: Positive knowledge of electronic components and their part numbers.

Hands-on experience with SMD and through-hole soldering. Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs. Knowledge of component packages such as 0603, 0805, SOT-23, SOIC, QFN, etc.

Basic understanding of voltage, current, power ratings, and component selection. Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
