Role Description The Mechanic role is a full-time, on-site position based in Manuguru. The Mechanic will perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and heavy equipment, inspect components for wear and safety issues, and carry out repairs to minimize downtime. Daily activities include diagnosing mechanical issues, troubleshooting faults, replacing parts, and ensuring equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.

The role involves maintaining accurate service records, coordinating with supervisors and operators to schedule maintenance,



and following all safety procedures and guidelines. The Mechanic is expected to work collaboratively with the site team and respond promptly to urgent repair needs to support continuous project operations.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to ensure reliable operation of machinery and equipment.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance practices to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment life.
- Hands-on proficiency working with Heavy Equipment in construction or infrastructure environments.
- Effective Troubleshooting abilities for identifying root causes of mechanical problems and implementing solutions.
- Relevant technical certification or ITI/diploma in Mechanical or a related field.
- Knowledge of safety standards, use of tools and diagnostic equipment, and adherence to site procedures.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, service instructions, and maintenance schedules.
- Previous experience as a Mechanic in infrastructure, construction, mining, or similar industries is an advantage.
- Capability to work on-site in Manuguru, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
