Role Purpose

Provide safe, appropriate and timely medical consultation through telehealth services.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct virtual medical consultations with patients/citizens.
- Understand presenting complaints, medical history and relevant clinical information.
- Conduct appropriate clinical assessment through available telehealth modalities.
- Provide medical advice, treatment guidance and appropriate health education.
- Identify cases requiring emergency intervention, physical consultation or specialist referral.
- Follow defined clinical protocols and escalation pathways.
- Maintain accurate and complete consultation records.
- Provide appropriate prescriptions or treatment recommendations within applicable professional requirements.
- Explain treatment,



medication and follow-up instructions clearly.
- Ensure appropriate documentation of referrals and escalations.
- Coordinate with nurses and coordinators for case follow-up where required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and qualified standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, reviews and training sessions.
- Escalate complex cases to the Doctor Lead or Telehealth Clinical Lead.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
