Educational Qualification :

- B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent.

- M.Sc. Nursing / PG qualification in Nursing or Hospital Administration preferred.
- Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.

Employment type : Full time Required Experience : Minimum 15 - 20 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably with supervisory/administrative experience.

Ensure secure, compassionate, and high-quality patient care while maintaining nursing standards, clinical protocols, and patient safety practices.

3. Staff Management

Manage nursing manpower, duty rosters, shift allocation, attendance, performance, discipline, and staff grievances effectively.

4. Clinical Supervision

Monitor nursing procedures, medication administration, documentation, patient monitoring, emergency response, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

5. Infection Prevention & Control

Ensure compliance with infection-control policies, hand hygiene, biomedical waste management, isolation practices, and hospital safety protocols.

6. Training & Staff Development

Identify training needs and conduct or coordinate induction, in-service education, competency assessments, and continuing professional development.

Quality & Accreditation

Support hospital quality initiatives, nursing audits, incident reporting, corrective actions, and compliance with applicable accreditation and regulatory standards.

8. Interdepartmental Coordination

Coordinate effectively with doctors, administration, pharmacy, laboratory, housekeeping, support services, and other departments for smooth patient care.

9. Patient & Attendant Relations

Address patient and attendant concerns professionally and ensure timely communication and resolution of nursing-related issues.

10. Resource Management

Monitor availability, proper utilization, maintenance, and safe handling of nursing equipment, medicines, consumables, and other resources.

11. Leadership & Decision-Making

Provide effective leadership, handle emergencies and operational challenges, and take appropriate decisions within hospital policies.

12. Reporting & Documentation

Ensure accurate nursing records, reports, registers, incident documentation, audits, and timely communication with hospital management.
