Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) invites applications for the position of Master Trainer cum Centre Manager. The primary focus of this role is to empower rural and peri-urban women entrepreneurs by imparting high-quality, practical skill training in Fashion Technology, the Food Processing Industry, and Beautician/Wellness courses.

- Language Proficiency: Kannada (Mandatory), English, and Hindi

Role & responsibilities 1. Trainee Mobilization & Center Management

- Active Mobilization: Identify, screen, and mobilize eligible rural women, encouraging them to take up entrepreneurship in the fashion, food processing, and beauty sectors.
- Centre Operations: Monitor and manage daily training centre activities, maintaining high organizational, safety, and legal standards.
- Resource Administration: Manage the training facility, design tools, and processing machinery effectively while controlling operational expenses within agreed budgets.
- Local Travel: Travel locally within rural areas for trainee outreach, local enterprise handholding, and market-linkage activities.

2. Technical Training & Skill Delivery

- Fashion Industry: Impart hands-on training in tailoring, embroidery, apparel making,



and understanding contemporary fashion trends.
- Food Processing Industry: Teach safe food handling, processing techniques (e.g., preservation, packaging, baking, local agro-products), quality control, and hygiene standards.
- Beautician & Wellness: Provide practical instruction in basic skin care, hair styling, bridal makeup, salon hygiene, and client management.
- Value Addition: Incorporate up-to-date market trends, costing, packaging, and quality standards into the practical curriculum.

3. Post-Training Handholding & Entrepreneurship Support

- Micro-Enterprise Mentorship: Guide beneficiaries step-by-step in setting up their home-based or local micro/nano units.
- Supply Chain Links: Assist women in sourcing reliable raw materials (fabrics, food ingredients, cosmetics) and finding local market distribution channels.

Preferred candidate profile Experience & Competencies:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in imparting practical skill training across at least two of the specified domains (Fashion, Food Processing, or Beautician courses).
- Proven expertise in managing a production unit, vocational training centre, design studio, or small-scale enterprise.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively teach and connect with rural women.
- Preference: Government-certified trainers (e.g., NSDC, Sector Skill Councils) will be given priority.
