About Howl
We're a Strategic Visibility Partner for B2B firms — we take overlooked companies and make them visible. SEO, content, outreach, and CRM run as one connected system, not four separate services. That's the whole difference.
Our clients stay with us an average of three-plus years, month to month, no long contracts. They stay because the work produces pipeline and because they always know where things stand.
The role
You'll own the SEO and marketing automation work across a portfolio of client accounts — building the workflows that generate and nurture leads, running the SEO strategy that makes clients findable, keeping CRM data clean and segmented, and reporting on what's actually working.
What the day looks like: you decide what needs attention this week. You notice a client's rankings slipped before anyone flags it. You see a nurture sequence underperforming and rebuild it. You spot that two systems aren't talking and fix it. Then you tell the client what you did and what it produced, in language they understand.
Who this is for
You've been the person who fixes the thing nobody assigned you. You get restless when the work is routine. When you hit something you don't know, you go learn it rather than waiting for someone to explain it.
If you do your best work with a explicit task list and defined scope, this isn't the right seat — and that's a real difference in working style, not a judgment.
We're a small senior team and nobody here is checking whether you started.
What you need
SEO you can defend. On-page and technical, keyword strategy, Search Console and the research tools. We'll ask you to walk through a decision you made, why you chose it over the alternative, and what happened. Tool familiarity alone won't get you through that conversation.
More than one CRM. HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, whatever — what matters is you've worked across enough systems to know they're different implementations of the same ideas, and you can pick up a new one by reading the docs.
Automation you've actually built. Lead gen and nurture workflows, live, for real clients.
Analytics that turn into decisions. You can read campaign and site performance data and say what to do about it, not just what it says.
Writing for non-technical people. Clients are business owners, not marketers. You'll write reports they can read and act on.
Multiple accounts at once, reliably. Several clients, competing priorities, deadlines that hold.
Marketing, communications, or business background is fine. So is having taught yourself the whole thing. We care what you can do.
Nice to have
Agency experience across multiple client environments. AEO/GEO and AI search visibility. Light scripting. Familiarity with cold outreach tooling.
How to apply
Send us one thing you improved that nobody asked you to improve — what you noticed, what you did, and what changed. A paragraph is plenty. We'd rather read that than a cover letter.
