About Role

Simply Sport Foundation (SSF) is looking for a proactive, creative, and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to support our marketing, communications, and brand-building efforts across SSF programs and Simply Sport Badminton Academy (SSBA).

This isn't a traditional social-media-only role — you'll get hands-on exposure to digital marketing, content creation, social media, creative communication, program marketing, campaigns, events, and offline/on-ground marketing, including work-related travel as required.

? What You'll Do

Content & Social Media

- Support SSF & SSBA social media channels and content calendars
- Develop ideas for posts, reels, stories & other formats
- Write captions, articles, newsletters & donor/impact reports
- Develop fundraising campaigns and athlete/coach/community stories

Creative Content

- Develop creative campaign ideas
- Create social media creatives using Canva & AI tools
- Shoot and edit reels & short-form videos
- Coordinate with designers, photographers & videographers

Program Marketing

- Grassroots Programs: athlete/community stories & impact reporting
- Women's Health Initiatives: awareness content & outreach
- PIVOT Program: participant & alumni stories, partnerships
- SSBA: athlete achievements, tournaments, events & Pay & Play promotion

Marketing Planning & Research

- Support content/campaign calendars & monthly initiatives
- Conduct basic competitor & audience research
- Track campaign performance & engagement

Events & Offline Marketing

- Support events, tournaments, workshops & launches




- Assist with on-ground marketing & community outreach
- Coordinate photography/video during events
- Assist with posters, collateral & academy branding

✅ Who We are Looking For

- Pursuing/completed a Bachelor's in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Advertising, PR, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field
- Genuine interest in marketing, communications, content creation & digital media
- Relevant internships, projects, or a portfolio showcasing content, writing, videos, or campaigns is a plus
