Manual QA Tester Intern Quality Assurance | Navi Mumbai (On-site) | 3-Month Internship

INTERNSHIP STRUCTURE

Duration: 3 months, on-site. Conversion: Performance during the internship is reviewed at the end of the term. Strong performers are converted to a full-time role at Arcitech AI; this is not automatic and is assessed against the same bar as our full-time hires for this function.

Prior project experience (academic, personal, freelance, hackathon, or open-source) directly relevant to this role is required to be considered — we are not hiring purely on academic credentials with no applied work to show.

Role Overview

Arcitech AI is looking for a Manual QA Tester Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. You will work under the guidance of our senior QA engineers, testing real features on real products — not sample apps.



Strong performers over the 3-month term will be considered for a full-time Manual QA Tester role. You should already understand core manual testing concepts and, ideally, have tested something real —

even a personal or college project, or a structured bug-bounty-style exercise. We will train you on our tools,

standards, and process; we expect the testing mindset already in place.

Responsibilities

- Design, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios for assigned features, under senior QA

guidance.
- Perform functional, regression, sanity, and exploratory testing on real product features.
- Log defects clearly in our tracking tool (Jira/Zoho) with reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior,

and evidence (screenshots/recordings).
- Get hands-on exposure to basic API testing using Postman.
- Learn to write and use basic SQL queries to validate data during testing.
- Follow the Bug Life Cycle for accurate defect reporting, tracking, and closure.
- Take ownership of test coverage for at least one feature or module end-to-end during the internship, as

a basis for your conversion evaluation.

Qualifications

- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related

field.
- 0–1 years of qualified experience — internships, coursework, and self-driven testing exercises all

count.




- Mandatory: at least one instance of hands-on testing work you can walk us through — a college project

you tested, a structured personal testing exercise, or a bug report you've written on a real application. Applications without a demonstrable example will not be considered.

Skills

- Understanding of core manual testing concepts — functional, regression, sanity, exploratory testing.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Ability to write a clear, reproducible bug report.
- Some exposure to a bug-tracking tool (Jira, Zoho, or similar) or willingness to learn quickly.
- Basic SQL knowledge, or willingness to build it during the internship.
- Strong attention to detail and methodical thinking.
- Clear written and verbal communication for reporting issues.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to Postman or any REST API testing tool.
- Any exposure to basic performance or security testing concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile ceremonies.

Other Details This is a 3-month, on-site internship based in Navi Mumbai. You will be mentored directly by our senior QA team.

Performance is evaluated on the thoroughness of your test design and the clarity of your defect reporting, not just volume of test cases run.

Compensation

Stipend Range: ₹1,20,000 – ₹1,80,000 per annum (approx. ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month), based on skill assessment during the interview process. Room for negotiation for candidates who demonstrate strong prior Porject depth
