Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible and Accountable for all Production activity at the Plant.
2. Deliver on the agreed production targets on a monthly basis both in Units

and value.
1. Ensure that all documentation is updated daily, and all regulatory and

statutory requirements are complied with.
1. Plan well, the days weeks and months production based on the orders

received and availability of material.
1. Ensure optimum usage of all manpower and resources and train and develop

them
1. Ensure that the products manufactured are to the exacting standards of the

Pharmacopeia with zero defects and zero product recalls.
1. Ensure that all the requirements of cGMP are maintained and that the plant

is always 100% audit ready.
1. Periodically review operating expenses and work out strategies to reduce

waste full expenditure and reduce process losses so as not exceed the allotted budget.
1. Ensure that equipment is periodically serviced and the plant suffers minimum

down time.
1. Generate relevant and accurate MIS

Preferred candidate profile B.Pharm / M.Pharm

Robust leadership and team management skills.

Must be fluent in Written and Spoken English.

Minimum 7 to 10 years in a similar function in OSD
