2. Lead and drive combustion, performance, and emission optimization for diesel engines and powertrain systems.
3. Oversee, validate, and execute diesel engine calibration programs, ensuring optimal synergy between base engine calibration, air system calibration, and tailpipe out calibration.
4. Understanding of DOC, DPF, and SCR systems, taking responsibility for the complete exhaust aftertreatment system calibration.
5. Working knowledge and experience in diesel engine combustion development and optimization, focusing on the trade-offs between performance, fuel economy, and emission levels.
6. Conduct combustion hardware screening to identify and validate the combustion critical components for specific engine platforms.
7. Experience in CRDI engine calibration and type approval?
8. Understanding and experience in DSM calibration, including PCD and NCD calibration.
9. Knowledge of turbochargers,



FIS system, aftertreatment system, injector thru-flow calculations, etc.
10. Oversee the DVPR process for combustion components and ensure the release requirements for combustion proprietary parts.
11. Understanding of the NPD process.
12. Establish and follow best practices and SOPs for the use of calibration and data analysis tools?
13. Ability to interpret test data and translate them into actionable calibration maps.
14. Present technical reviews, project statuses, and risk mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
