Role & responsibilities

- Execute the maintenance plan as per direction.

- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring efficient and safe operation.

- Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance operations.

- Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdowns and outages.

- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes.

- Monitor equipment performance/health and identify areas for improvement/replacement.

- Foster relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of maintenance services/spares.

- Provide technical support and advice to other departments.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical

- Strong knowledge of engineering, manufacturing and maintenance processes.

- Hands-on experience with various engineering machinery and equipment.

- Familiarity with quality control and inspection procedures.

- Good understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.





- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

- Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

- Positive communication skills to effectively convey technical information to technical and non- technical personnel

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Skills & Experience:

- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in maintenance management in an engineering manufacturing company

- Robust technical knowledge of rail vehicles, components and systems is preferred

- Experience in executing and work together with a team of maintenance technicians

- Ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures and protocols

- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards for rail maintenance is preferred
