Manager – Institutional Partnerships & Strategic Alliances

About the Role

Edumilestones is looking for a Manager – Institutional Partnerships & Strategic Alliances to build and scale partnerships with universities, colleges, schools, corporates, training institutions and education ecosystems across India and international markets.

This role will own the institutional partnership journey from identifying the right organizations and decision-makers to initiating conversations, presenting solutions, negotiating partnership models, closing agreements and driving successful activation of partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have strong B2B relationship-building and business development experience, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and convert institutional conversations into long-term business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new institutional partnership opportunities across universities, colleges, schools, corporates and education organizations.
- Build relationships with senior decision-makers including Directors, Deans, Principals, Management, HR/L&D; leaders and other institutional stakeholders.
- Present Edumilestones' Career-Tech, psychometric, career counselling and education/admission solutions based on institutional requirements.
- Own the complete partnership lifecycle — prospecting, outreach, meetings, presentations, proposals, negotiations, closure and partnership activation.
- Develop and negotiate MoUs, strategic alliances, referral models, co-branded initiatives and institutional engagement programs.
- Build a healthy pipeline of institutional opportunities and maintain regular follow-ups until closure.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of institutional partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for recurring business, cross-selling and expansion within existing partnerships.




- Explore and develop international institutional partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
- Represent Edumilestones at relevant conferences, education forums, networking events and institutional meetings.
- Track partnership metrics including outreach, meetings, proposals, closures, active partnerships, revenue opportunities and partner performance.
- Provide regular market intelligence and insights on emerging partnership opportunities and competitive activity.

What We're Looking For

- 3–7 years of experience in Institutional Partnerships, Strategic Alliances, B2B Business Development, Institutional Sales or Education Partnerships.
- Experience working with universities, colleges, schools, corporates, training organizations or education ecosystems.
- Strong experience in engaging and influencing senior decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the complete B2B partnership/BD cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Robust presentation, negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to convert relationships into measurable business opportunities.
- Experience with MoUs, institutional collaborations, strategic alliances or partnership models will be an advantage.
- International partnership experience is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel for institutional meetings and business development activities when required.
