Role Purpose: The role will serve as the central finance analytics and business partnering resource for manufacturing operations.

The incumbent will work closely with factory finance teams and plant leadership to enhance the quality of financial analysis, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen cost and profitability insights, and drive data-based decision making across manufacturing units.

This is a highly analytical role requiring regular engagement with factory teams, including periodic site visits, to challenge assumptions, validate financial performance, and build stronger finance capabilities at the plant level.

The position will act as a bridge between corporate finance and manufacturing operations, ensuring that financial reporting translates into actionable business insights.

Experience

- 5-8 years of experience in FP&A;, Manufacturing Finance, Cost Finance, Business Finance, or Finance Analytics roles.
- Solid exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Experience partnering with multiple factory locations is preferred.

Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;):

- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes for manufacturing operations.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess business performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance.
- Identify key financial and operational drivers impacting plant profitability and productivity.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for improving financial performance.

Factory Finance Analytics & Business Partnering:

- Partner with plant finance teams to improve the accuracy, quality, and depth of financial analysis generated at factory locations.
- Conduct regular reviews of plant-level financial performance, cost structures, and operational KPIs.
- Visit manufacturing sites on a regular basis (typically weekly) to understand operational challenges,



validate financial assumptions, and support local finance teams.
- Strengthen analytical capabilities within factory finance teams through coaching, guidance, and best-practice sharing.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to drive financial discipline and performance improvement initiatives.

Cost, Margin & Profitability Analysis:

- Analyse manufacturing costs, conversion costs, material consumption, and productivity trends.
- Evaluate product, customer, and business segment profitability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse plant-level margins and profitability drivers.

Management Reporting & Performance Insights:

- Develop impactful management reports, dashboards, and performance scorecards.
- Track and monitor key financial and operational KPIs across manufacturing units.
- Convert complex financial data into actionable business insights for senior leadership.
- Present performance reviews and recommendations to leadership teams.

Data Analytics & Digital Finance:

- Utilize Advanced Excel, Power BI, and AI-enabled finance tools to improve analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Develop scenario models, sensitivity analyses, and business simulations.
- Drive automation and standardization of reporting processes.
- Support the implementation of data-driven decision-making practices across plants.

Strategic Finance Support:

- Support Make vs. Buy evaluations through financial analysis and business case development.
- Conduct financial assessment of Capex projects, investment proposals, and expansion opportunities.
- Provide analytical support for productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Participate in strategic projects aimed at improving performance and profitability.
