An established SEBI-registered Category I merchant banker is hiring for its Equity Capital Markets desk to own syndication and placement across live equity transactions - from pre-marketing through allocation and post-deal analysis.

Product coverage: IPO, FPO, QIP, Rights Issue, Buy Back, Open Offer, FCCB and GDR / ADR.

Key responsibilities:

- Identify and target domestic and international institutional investors with sales and IB teams
- Maintain databases of investor preferences, allocations and feedback; participate in investor pick meetings
- Coordinate meetings between issuer, investors and other lead managers; build investor relationships
- Track market sentiment, ECM deal flow and investor behaviour; gauge appetite pre-deal
- Manage book building and allocation; monitor demand, pricing and feedback during execution
- Prepare deal memos, allocation reports and post-deal analysis; feed investor insight back to origination

Must have: a proven track record in syndication, coverage and placement of ECM mandates and excellent investor management credentials.
